王銳言 女士/先生,您好:
To Tze-Chiang A,B,C Residence Hall All:
We have been informed that some people have been making blustering sound in the lounge room this morning (12/24) around 3:00 a.m. Thus, this specific incident has already violated the dorm regulations. Here, we solemnly reiterate that for the sake of the tranquil and harmonious ambience, we expect everyone living in this community to respect each other. We will severely punish those who ignore and violate the dorm regulations.

Moving on from google trends, google has a newer feature which allows for searching of news archives and graphing the results on a timeline. Here is an example of the Halifax Explosion's impact. The searching gets addictive. I just did Mao, Cuba, Myself (nothing during the year of my birth), Hitler, and Chiang Kai Shek. Here's a graphic representation of the Dark ages.
I don't know why, but trucks are blue in Taiwan. Pretty much all of them. And they're all the same shade of blue too. Go figure.
Maybe its a political statement? Workers who use trucks support the pan-blues?
Maybe there's a law somewhere? Perhaps 'Blue Auto Paint inc.' has connections at the Ministry of Transport?
Or maybe that's just the way it is. Maybe trucks in Taiwan are blue, because trucks in Taiwan are blue. This would not surprise me at all. It's like the line of thinking that leads to the "no shoes in the computer lab" rule at my school. Nobody really understands it. You simply don't wear shoes in the computer labs because you don't wear shoes in the computer labs. That's just how it is...
My posting habits are horrible. I'm still working away at school. About 4 weeks to go until break time. I'm going to Cambodia for a few weeks in January, where I will learn to scuba dive. I've always wanted to dive. Jacques Cousteau was my childhood hero. I hope they teach me to do that flip off the boat backwards move...
